Reflections for Term 1

It has been an inspiring term for me, especially through discovering the wonders and mysteries of chemistry that I did not understand before.
The most important piece of information I have gained in the term is how different elements combine through ionic and covalent bonding. In terms of technical skills, the writing of chemical equations is crucial in chemistry all the way until JC. Also, the chemical reactions that occur between acids and bases cannot be disregarded as they play an important play in constructing chemical equations and predicting the products of various chemical combinations.
With hard work, I managed to score an A1 for the term test. One difficulty I faced during the course of the test was trying to figure out the atomic mass and positioning of elements in the periodic table. Despite forgetting the charges of some ions, I scraped through the questions luckily and got most of them correct. Overall, this term has been an exciting and manageable term for me. I look forward to another anticipating term of science lessons.
